OPEC: The global demand for oil will increase until 2035

According to the OPEC Oil Organization Organization’s annual report, developing nations will continue to drive global oil demand growth until 2035, mostly for petrochemical and transportation needs.
The “OPEC” report stated that “although the world demand was predicted at 96.9 million barrels per day in 2021, it will grow to 109.5 million barrels per day by 2035, when it settles at 109.8 million barrels per day during the following decade.

According to the report, “the demand from the countries of the Organization for Cooperation and Development has decreased since 2024 and will decrease to 34 million barrels per day” by the year 2045 (compared to 44. 8 million barrels per day in 2021). This represents a decline of 11 million barrels per day.

The report made it clear that during this time, “the long-term demand from non-member countries of the Organization for Cooperation and Development in the economic field is supposed to increase by 24 million barrels per day,” “driven by the expansion of the middle classes, strong demographic growth, and the possibility of economic growth.”
According to the report’s conclusion, this will cause the world’s oil demand to rise by 12. 9 million barrels per day to 109. 8 million barrels per day in 2045.

” The oil -exporting countries are betting for a somewhat long time as of 2035 due to “energy policies and technological developments” that may enhance the diversity of energy resources in the future.
