Omar Kamal, the Egyptian musician and author of “Bint Al-Jeeran,” sparked a significant uproar with his recent appearance and the unusually quick growth of a beard for him.
The singer’s new look garnered a lot of online ridicule, especially since some individuals mentioned getting surgery to grow this beard.
When Kamal finally made up his mind to speak up, he called Egyptian journalist Amr Adib on Monday night and explained the specifics of his new beard.
The singer initially pointed out that he is embarrassed by talking about this, but the story is that he is participating in the movie “Hour of Answer”, and it is scheduled to finish filming it a few days later.
Kamal is performing alongside Nabila Obaid and Aiten Amer, and he also joins Aiten Amer for a solo performance throughout the festivities. However, before the character was filmed, Kamal was dealing with a minor facial ailment.
The character required him to have a beard, but he had a medical condition that prevented the beard hair from showing on a portion of his face. This could be fixed with cosmetics.
But when Kamal went to see his doctor, the latter advised him to grow a beard for that scene and, if he liked it, decide whether to keep the look after filming.
Although Kamal acknowledged that he had already grown some of his beard, he claimed that the audience had not yet noticed his new look.
At the end of his speech, the singer Kamal revealed his approach to the announcement of his marriage, without specifying the name of the girl who will marry her.
Previous rumours have connected him to Egyptian artist Ahmed El-Fishawi and Nada Al-Kamil.
