David de Gea’s future will be decided by Manchester United, but this decision won’t be made until after the Qatar 2022 World Cup.
One of the highest paid players in the Premier League, De Gea’s contract is set to expire next summer, but United will maintain the renovation option for an additional year.
“We will consider the case after the World Cup, first. We certainly have our ways of settling matters at home, but David is a huge goalie, and I am quite delighted with him.
