Before the current year comes to an end, a number of significant cultural events are being established, before the Cairo International Book Fair, Egypt’s most well-known cultural event, which will begin its activities at the end of January 2023 for its fifty-fourth edition in the country’s fifth assembly of the centre for international exhibitions.
Numerous significant cultural activities and events took place this year, and the year comes to a close with two noteworthy and special occasions that will take place in the near future.
Arabic Novel Forum in Cairo
After a stop for more than two years, the eighth international forum for Arab novelist creativity organized by the Supreme Council of Culture in Cairo starts from November 28 to December 1, 2022; Entitled (The Arabic Novel: New Phenomena – The Great Critic Course, Dr.
Over the course of four days, the forum includes research sessions and round tables in addition to a number of certificate sessions for novelists from all Arab countries. Writers’ Conference in Egypt
Since his last sessions in Port Said in 2019, the Egypt Writers Conference is again returning to the thirty -fifth session, in the New Valley Governorate, and headed by the great writer Mohamed Salmawi, and the secretariat of Dr.
Hamdi Suleiman, and the conference will be held. The course is named after the late critic and thinker Shaker Abdel Hamid. The conference, titled “Cultural Action is the Problem of Meaning,” will take place over the course of 4 days in the second part of December of the next year and will feature a variety of governorate-specific events in addition to recognising several writers from the province.
Teenage Salon
The thirty-third Youth Salon session, with the theme “Art,” kicks off on December 25 at the Palace of Arts.
