India pays rescue teams to deal with the collapse of a bridge in the state of Gojarat

Three teams from the National Disaster Construction Force in India were sent to the province of Morbi in the state of Gujarat on Sunday when a bridge across the Machu River became stopped, resulting in at least 68 deaths and the loss of 100 others.
Atoul Carwal, the force’s general manager, was quoted by the Indian “Press Trust of India” agency as claiming that two teams from the state capital of Grannagar and a team from Fadodara had been moved.

According to Carwal, each of the three teams has a staff of 30 rescuers, four boats, and senior officials in command.
