Tim Coochey has spent 28 years remodelling his house.
In addition to deceased relatives, a creepy pirate ship, and skeletons, his house is totally draped in the image of a haunted castle.
For one night, everything on Coochey’s land comes to life. This is likely Coochey’s favourite night of the year.
“Tell me a riddle: For 20 years, as many parents are aware, your kids have driven you insane. Legal retaliation on one night of the year, he claimed.

It’s a rather spectacular arrangement on des Macons Street in Pierrefonds.
Sound systems and infrared sensors are present. Coochey can manage most things using his laptop or smartphone.
You might not be able to see all the effort and passion it takes to make it all happen, though.
He claimed that some of this work took him a month to create, pointing to the guitar player as an example. “Everything is 3D printed. It requires time.

Ivan Dow, who has been frightening visitors at his home on Pine Beach in Dorval for 43 years, is another Halloween enthusiast who puts in the effort.
On his two estates, he creates a sort of ghost trail that spans around 10,000 square feet.
The average visitor can walk through the entire setup in approximately 20 minutes, according to Dow, though horror fans may take even longer.
“They can expect it to be a lot bigger than they think it is,” said Dow.

“Because typically they ask, “How come this is so long?,” around a quarter of the way in. And what’s truly fantastic is that they haven’t even begun yet.
If you’re easily alarmed, visit the ghost trail while it’s still light out.
Dow advises waiting until after sunset if you’re hoping for a nice scare.
The eerie house is also benefiting a good cause.
On October, Dow solicited contributions from guests.

Funds are being raised on October 31 for Sun Youth and on October 30 for West Island Citizen Advocacy (WICA).

Extensive displays are set up by Halloween fans in Montreal’s West Island.
