Convoys for Sonak .. Boris Johnson plans to attend the climate summit in Egypt

Former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson plans to attend the climate meeting that will take place in the Egyptian city of Sharm El-Sheikh the following week, according to the British publication “The Guardian.”
The British newspaper quoted several sources as saying that Johnson “intends to go to the decisive meeting of world leaders in Egypt, to show his solidarity with the battle against the climate crisis.

This information follows the incoming British Prime Minister Rishi Sonak’s admission that he will not attend the summit “for lack of time,” as he prioritises the formation of the cabinet above everything else.
The former Prime Minister’s visit to Egypt is seen as a contempt for Sonak, where the “Labor Party” attacks the failure of the government policy regarding the environmental crisis.

The British government, for its part, remained silent over Boris Johnson’s willingness to attend the climate meeting.
The Sonak administration “is completely dedicated to the support of the climate summit and the leadership of worldwide work to combat climate change and safeguard nature,” according to an unnamed government spokesman published by The Guardian newspaper.

” The government spokesman stated that the United Kingdom will be represented by the top of the senior ministers, including foreign, business and environmental ministers, in addition to the British climate envoy Alwlak Sharma, who headed the British delegation at the Climate Summit (COP 26), last year in Glasgow.
The Climate Summit (cup 27), which will be held in Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt, from November 6 to 17, will be attended by a number of international leaders.

The Guardian, a British newspaper, is the source.
