According to the “AhchealTheney” website, Dr. Lady D., a dermatologist at Advocate Lutherran General Hospital in Park Ridge, Illinois, says eating a lot of carrots can make your skin turn orange. She adds: “The islands can cause yellow pigmentation orange of the hands or the soles of your feet, explaining that Orange yellow is caused by an increase in beta -carotene in the blood from eating foods like carrots.

She continued by mentioning additional foods including pumpkin, sweet potatoes, melons, and even dried apricots that might result in yellow or orange pigmentation. These foods are all high in beta-carotene, which is not poisonous and has no significant health risks despite minor changes.

She made a point of pointing out that the temporary change in skin tone is completely reflected as soon as your eating habits change, and that no treatment is required because the condition will gradually manifest itself and the colouring will gradually improve over a few weeks or months once the blood’s concentration of a particular substance returns to normal.

Skin coloration frequently appears in children who consume high quantities of certain children’s foods, or persons with liver disease, diabetes, or thyroid failure, and can occasionally be possible. Skin colouring normally develops when carotene levels in the blood are normal from three to four times.
