French striker Karim Benzema, winner of the Golden Ball Award as the best player in the world, returned to the individual training of his Real Madrid team before the confrontation against the Scottish Celtic in the Champions League, after his absence from three games for the Royal Club.
Due to a left leg injury, Benzema missed the two matches in the Spanish league against Seville and Girona as well as the defeat to German Leipzig in the Champions League.
Benzema left the game that Real defeated Celtic with three goals without a reply last month after getting hurt in the knee, but he started to recuperate while the France national team awaited news of the condition of its main striker from the World Cup Qatar three weeks ago.
Before their match against Celtic tomorrow, Wednesday, Benzema and Orlene Chaamini took part in the individual training today, according to a statement released by Real Madrid today, Monday.
Benzema returns to Real Madrid’s individual training after his injury recovery.
