A statement to Barcelona club said on Monday: The coach decided to rest Robert Lewandowski because of his suffering from a back problem.
Barcelona only managed to win one game in the current Champions League, therefore the team decided to leave the competition and join the European League.
Lewandowski joined Barcelona from Bayern Munich during the most recent summer transfer window, scoring 18 goals in 17 games.
Lewandowski’s efforts for Barcelona come up short.
