Arsenal officials opened the renewal file of French international William Saliba, the Gunners defender, whose contract will expire in June 2023, with the renovation option for a season.

The British newspaper “The Athaltek” reported that the Arsenal administration started negotiations with William Saliba in order to renew his contract in June 2024, to protect him from the temptations of European clubs in the future.
The article further stated that Saliba and representatives from Arsenal are still in negotiations and that they have not yet come to an agreement.
