A free trade agreement between Israel and Bahrain will sign the end of the year

Bahraini Minister of Trade and Industry Zayed bin Rashid Al Zayani, in an interview with i24NEWS, revealed the free trade agreement with Israel, which will be signed at the end of this year.
The interview took place on the sidelines of the Bahraini minister’s current trip to Israel at the head of a business group.

The Bahraini minister believed that this agreement would mark the start of commercial links between Bahrain and Israel as well as the commencement of prosperous trade between the two nations.
It is notable that Israel under American sponsorship normalised diplomatic ties with Bahrain and the UAE two years ago.

Israel signed its first free trade agreement with an Arab nation, with the Emirates, in May of last year. According to officials, this agreement will boost bilateral trade from $1.2 billion to $10 billion over the next five years.
