Zakharova: We will put off the Black Sea attacks against us in front of the Security Council

News from Al-Madinah: Regarding the assaults on its navy in the Black Sea, Russia has stepped up its rhetoric. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokeswoman Maria Zakharova announced today, Saturday, that her country will bring before the UN Security Council issue the issue of the drones attacks that targeted the port of Sevastopol in the Crimea, in addition to the explosions that caused damage to the Nord Stream pipeline to transport gas in September.

The Russian side “intends to draw the attention of the international community, especially through the UN Security Council, to the series of terrorist attacks that were carried out against us in the Black Sea and in the Baltic Sea, and this includes the involvement of Britain,” she continued in a Telegram comment.
In response to these allegations, London stated that they were unfounded and made up to hide Russia’s mistakes in the Ukraine.

This came after the Russian Ministry of Defense confirmed that it has data on the participation of elements of the British navy in those attacks that had previously affected the Russian fleet on the Crimea with drones, as well as sabotage operations that were subjected to Nordstreim 1 and 2 on September 26.
According to reports, Moscow had previously laid blame for the bombings that jolted the bottom of the Baltic Sea on the West.

While Russian government representatives have often suggested that Washington has reasons for carrying out such sabotage, particularly as it attempts to sell more LNG to Europe. However, the United States categorically refuted this charge while implying Russian complicity.
On the 26th of the previous month, four significant leakage operations occurred in the Nord Stream 1 and 2 pipeline off the Danish island of Bornholm, two in Swedish economic seas, and two more in Danish waters.

As for the Crimean Peninsula, which Russia annexed to its territory in 2014, today it witnessed the largest booby -trapped drone attacks, since the start of the Russian -Ukrainian conflict on February 24.
