The Houthi forces in Yemen started haggling with the relatives of the people whose drugs they were smuggling and selling that were contaminated.
Local Sana’a sources claimed that the militia leaders spoke with the parents of the children who had died as a result of the tainted medicine and discouraged them from seeking legal action, emphasising that doing so would not be in their best interests.
According to the reports, the militia also promised to pay the relatives of individuals who contracted tainted leukaemia money and salaries similar to those paid to those who were slain in exchange for dropping and dismissing the case.
According to information, Taha Al-Mutawakkil, a close ally of Abdul-Malik Al-Houthi, the head of the Houthi Ministry of Health, is attempting to cover up his involvement in the trafficking of illegal medications and tainted, out-of-date medical goods.
