Borussia Monchengladbach’s score dropped to 16 points in tenth position, while Union Berlin increased its score to 26 points at the top of the standings, one point ahead of Bayern Munich, who dropped to second.
With a victory over Monchengladbach, Union Berlin reclaims first place in the Bundesliga.
