Ukrainian grain export movement in the Black Sea stopped on Sunday, according to the Joint Coordination Center

The Joint Coordination Center, in charge of overseeing the implementation of an international agreement that signed to export Ukrainian grains, announced that any movement of shipping ships transporting Ukrainian grains was not registered in the Black Sea today, Sunday.
In a statement released late at night, the centre said that Moscow had suspended its participation in the accord struck on July 22 in Istanbul due to attacks on its ships.

The centre, which is composed of ambassadors from Turkey, Ukraine, Russia, and the United Nations and is located in Istanbul, stated that it had been told of Russia’s “concern about the security of commercial ships” and had sent this information along to the delegations from Turkey and Ukraine.

Amir Abdullah, the UN coordinator for the Black Sea grain initiative, expressed his worries regarding the security of commercial ships to the Russian delegation at the Joint Coordination Center today (October 29).
The Turkish and Ukrainian delegates at the Joint Coordination Center received Abdullah’s concerns, he continued.
This notification has not yet been made by any official Turkish institution.

A security source confirmed to Agence France -Presse on Saturday evening that “Turkey has not officially informed” the Russian withdrawal.
The Joint Coordination Center is researching the most recent developments, assessing how they will affect its operations, and debating the following steps, he continued.

” Nine shipping ships on Saturday managed to use the marine corridor in the Black Sea “and there are more than ten (other ships)” ready for that in both directions, according to what the center that ensures the implementation of the agreement.
This agreement, in particular the examination by five teams made up of two inspectors each from Russia, Ukraine, Turkey, and the United Nations of the cargo ships that follow the Bosphorus in both directions, whether they are loaded or unloaded.

Ukraine has been criticising the sluggish inspections since the beginning of this month and blaming Russia for the obstruction.
The institute predicted that more than 170 ready-made shipping ships were headed for Istanbul during the current week.
According to the centre, the deal, which went into effect on August 1, permitted the export of more than 9 million tonnes of grains and other agricultural products from Ukrainian ports.

According to the Joint Coordination Center, Ukrainian grain exports to the Black Sea ceased on Sunday.
