The question of whether Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo had expressed regret for his behaviour during the Premier League encounter against Tottenham was addressed by Dutch coach Eric Tin Hag.
“Has Cristiano Ronaldo expressed regret? As quoted by the official website of his club, Tin Hag remarked, “I said enough and I have received enough justifications for this.
He added: “Cristiano Ronaldo is an important player, and we are happy with his presence here.
”
He went on: “We are pleased with the goal that was scored in the European League encounter on Thursday, and it may even be more significant for the team.
The Ronaldo and Tin Hag crisis resurfaced during the Tottenham game in the Premier League when Cristiano refused to play as a substitute and leave the bench before the game ended. This infuriated the Dutch coach, the club’s management, and the supporters, who immediately imposed a penalty that included a ban from future games and youth team practise.
Last Thursday, Ronaldo made a comeback to play with Manchester United against Sharif Turbol in the European League. He scored a goal as his club won three games in a row.
