News from Al-Madinah: During its participation in the World Junior and Youth Championships and under 21 held in the Turkish city of Konya, the national junior and youth team earned 4 medals today, including 3 silver and bronze.
Walid Qatamsh (a weight under 70 kg – the junior category) and Saif al-Din Bani Fare each won one of the three silver medals. The consistency of the bronze medal for the youth division in events under 55 kilogrammes.

The junior and youth category finals were held today, when Walid Qatamsh was defeated 7-0 by Kazakhi Kadigali Alekhhan in his final match.

Saif Al-Din Bani Fares received the silver medal after losing to Montenegri, “Emery,” 6-0, in the championship match.

After winning 5 matches against Al-Hindi Yashfir, the Iranian Magian Muhammad Mahdi, the Uzbek Simatov Muhammad, the Turkish Adimir Suleiman, and the Ukrainian Zavzaharov Ilya, “Bani Faris” had advanced to the final.
Although Youssef Nofal’s last goal against Youssef Irene of Turkey was defeated 8-0, “Nofal” still earned the silver medal.

Youssef Nofal defeated Canadian David, a Luxembourg player, Davis Alexander, English Shuani Carbin, Kazakhshani Taizan Ali Bishr, and Croatian Max Jerbach in five matches to earn a spot in the final weight above 76 kg.
Youssef Salama defeated Sultan Al-Qahtani of Saudi Arabia 8-0 to earn the bronze medal.

The national team will wrap up its participation in the World Championship tomorrow, on Sunday. Abdullah Hammad will compete in the under -21 competitions at a final weight under 67 kg, and Hassan Masarwa and Mohammed Al-Jaafari will compete in the same competitions for the bronze medals, respectively.

In the World Championships, Jordan took home three silver and three bronze medals.
