The United Nations calls for the preservation of the export of Ukraine pills

After Russia indicated that it was suspending its participation in the accord because of a drone attack on one of its ships in Crimea, the UN urged all efforts to be made to uphold the agreement relating to the export of Ukrainian pharmaceuticals.

According to Stephen Dujarric, a spokesman for the UN Organization, “it is crucial for all parties to refrain from any work that would put the grain agreement in the Black Sea at danger.” He emphasised that this agreement has a “good influence” on securing food for millions of people throughout the world.

Following a drone attack on Russian ships in the Crimea, Russia said that it would no longer be taking part in the arrangement that secures the continuous shipment of Ukrainian pharmaceuticals, a crucial source of food for developing nations.

Vladimir Putin, the president of Russia, attempted to restrict the nations that might accept the shipments of the agreement in accordance with this agreement, which is sponsored by Turkey and the UN, and permitted Ukraine’s grain exports, which had ceased since the start of the war last February.

Russia said earlier on Friday that only 3% of food exports that take place within the scope of a deal in which the United Nations has mediated the transfer of grains from Ukrainian ports go to the poorest nations, and that 50% of the shipments go to Western nations.

The United Nations urges the continuation of Ukraine’s pharmaceutical exports.
