“The remaining evidence of Al -Andalus civilization” is a symposium in the House of Senari

The Center for Islamic Civilization Studies and the House of Al -Sinari, in cooperation with the Spanish Institute of Tharbantz, is organizing a symposium today, entitled “The remaining evidence of Al -Andalus civilization” at the headquarters of the archaeological house in Sayyida Zainab.
Dr. Juan Castilla Brazlais, a professor at Spain’s Supreme Council for Scientific Research and the former head of the Arab Studies School in Granada.

Knowing that the symposium is free, the invitation in general, and the entry of the precedence of the attendees, it will take place in the House of Al-Sinari in Cairo tomorrow, Sunday, October 30, 2022, from five to seven in the evening.

Juan Castilla Brazia, a scholar of Islamic literature and studies at the University of Granada and a former director of the Arab Studies School in Granada, presents a spatial and temporal journey over the eight centuries that Andalusia was a part of southern Europe. He takes into account time periods from the beginning of Islam in the Arabic peninsula to the fall of the Nasserist Kingdom in the Iberian Peninsula.
