According to the report published by Business World on Sunday, marine wind farms can meet the growing energy needs of the Philippines. Wind energy appears to be the key to hope for the Philippines in order to achieve two goals: the first is to proceed in the path of renewable energy, and the second is to meet its energy needs. This leads it to provide strong incentives and investments to achieve this.
According to the report, the Philippines is working to switch to cleaner energy sources while safeguarding its priceless and finite terrestrial resources. In light of the issue of land scarcity, marine wind farms are one of the magic solutions because they give them land for agriculture and other needs while also supplying clean energy, protecting the environment, and lowering carbon emissions.
The marine wind farms appear to be a magic solution in providing renewable energy, and the energy produces it produces in Asia, Europe and North America has reached 60 GB so far, and it is expected to add another 315 GB to the global energy mix by 2031.
The World Bank estimates that the Philippines has the potential to generate roughly 178 GB, and that doing so will not deny any of its territory while also creating job opportunities and promoting industrial development.
The World Bank advised the Philippines to put together a road map that would facilitate the production of 15 GB of marine wind energy by 2035, 30 GB by 2040, and 50 GB by 2050, according to the report.
