The electricity war is borrowing .. Kyiv targets a station in Crimea

In the eighth month of the conflict, which started on February 24, it appears that the “electrical war” started when Russian soldiers crossed into Ukrainian territory.
The authorities in the Ukrainian Crimea, which was included in Moscow in 2014, announced today, Thursday, that a power plant on the peninsula targeted an attack by a plane running at night, noting that the station was not affected much.

The ruler, Mikhail Rogboushayev, who was chosen by Moscow, claimed on Telegram, “Today, during the night, there was an attack without a pilot on the Balclava station to generate thermal energy.” He said that although the station had “slight damage,” no injuries had been reported.
The official added that there is no “danger to energy supplies” and that Sevastopol and the semi-supplies island’s were unaffected by the mishap.

Additionally, he mentioned that the transformer where the post-attack fire started “is under maintenance and is not currently operational. The facility’s staff responded to the fire immediately, he continued.
On the other hand, Kyiv claimed that due to ongoing Russian bombing, she had placed restrictions on the use of energy throughout the nation.

It also verified that throughout yesterday night, Russian soldiers bombed energy installations in the country’s centre.
It is noteworthy that this strike in Crimea came while the Ukrainian forces pressed the Russians, by launching a counter -attack in the south, and northeast of the country since last month.

It also happened when the Russian military launched a bloody offensive against Ukraine’s electricity-generating infrastructure in recent weeks. Within a week, 30 percent of the energy infrastructure in numerous places, including the nation’s capital Kyiv, was attacked.
What caused the recent interruption of electrical service in 1100 municipalities, as previously verified by the Ukrainian authorities.
