The death toll from the stampede accident in South Korea increased to 153 people

Emergency officials said “KBS and Radio,” a South Korean radio network, on Sunday that 153 people had died in a catastrophic stampede that happened during Seoul’s Halloween festivities.
Out of the 80 people that were hurt, 103 were reported to be injured. 19 individuals sustained significant injuries.
Emergency services reported that 22 of the dead were indeed dead, although the Interior Ministry put the number at 20.

People from China, Iran, Russia, the United States, France, Australia, Vietnam, Uzbekistan, Norway, Kazakhstan, Sri Lanka, Thailand, and Austria are reportedly among the fatalities.
After he visited tens of thousands of people to celebrate Halloween, the South Korean Yonhap News Agency earlier claimed that the deadliest stampede in South Korea’s history took place on Saturday night in a small alley near the Hamilton Hotel.

This was the first Halloween to be held in Seoul three years ago after the country raised many Kovid-19 restrictions. Most people on the streets were dressed in Halloween attire.

The number of individuals killed in the South Korean stampede catastrophe has risen to 153.
