The British government condemns two terrorist explosions targeting the Ministry of Education in Somalia

The terrorist attacks that struck the Somalia Ministry of Education’s main office were denounced by the British government today.
British Foreign Secretary James Cleverly – according to the official website of the British government – expressed his country’s condemnation and condemnation of the two bombings, which targeted the headquarters of the Ministry of Higher Education in the Federal Republic of Somalia, and regretted the killing and wounding of dozens.

My sympathies are with the families and friends of those who tragically lost their lives and were injured in the incident in Mogadishu, which I strongly condemn.
The British Foreign Minister emphasised that the United Kingdom continues to support the Somalian government and people in their fight against terrorism and that the country rejects terrorism in all of its manifestations.

As of yesterday, Saturday, when the two blasts took place close to the Ministry of Education’s offices in the capital city of Mogadishu, 100 people had been killed and 300 injured, according to Somalia’s President Hassan Sheikh Mahmoud.

The second explosion happened in front of a packed restaurant because the Somali government blamed the “youth” movement for the first bomb, which targeted a throng of civilians utilising public transportation.

The Somalian Ministry of Education was the target of two terrorist bombings, which the British government strongly opposes.
