The Albert team earns the appeal against Alonso’s penalty in the American Formula-1 race

The Formula 1, the opponent of the Formula-1 cars in its appeal against the punishment imposed on its Spanish driver Fernando Alonso in the American Grand Prix, which was held last Sunday in the World Championship competitions.
Alonso, who twice won the World Championship, kept his seventh-place finish from the race in Austin, Texas.

Based on a protest submitted by the Haas team, race monitors delayed Alonso’s start by 30 seconds. As a result of the penalty, the former world champion dropped to fifteenth place at the moment.

The right side mirror of his car was damaged after a collision with Lance Stroll, an Aston Martin driver. The mirror then fell when he attempted to overtake Kevin Magnousen, a Haas team driver, and the crew was unable to fix it while stopping at the maintenance area, which resulted in the penalty.
The race monitors initially dismissed Alpine’s protest against the penalty, but the team appealed and was allowed.

The race officials came to the conclusion that the Haas team’s protest was not timely submitted.
The Alpine team expressed gratitude to the International Automobile Racing Federation (Villa) for reaching a favourable outcome in the case via the social media platform “Twitter.”

The Albert team is successful in its appeal of Alonso’s disqualification from the American Formula-1 race.
