Amir Said Irwani continued, “The Palestinian people now require the UN Security Council’s active and decisive support to halt the aggression and occupation these people are experiencing.
“The Islamic Islamic Republic believes defending the right of Palestine to be justified in the face of the repressive policies and attacks of this apartheid-based entity from its duty, and you will continue to use this missionary approach until the end of the occupation,” he concluded.
” Irwani warned of the continuation of the current miserable conditions in the occupied Palestinian territories, noting that the reports of Warda indicate that the year 2022 is the most bloody years for the Palestinian people since 2006.
Added him: “The Gaza Strip is now the largest prison in the world, housing a sizable population of women and children who are denied basic rights and live in poverty.
The representative of Iran at the UN emphasised that as long as the Security Council remains one of the choices in this regard, “this posture of this council would only earn support for the Zionist entity’s approach and continue its crimes against the Palestinian people.
Irwani also addressed the claims made by “representatives of the Zionist entity about Iran,” claiming that they “seek to exploit the current Security Council atmosphere to raise fabricated issues and their sustainable lies against the Islamic Republic of Iran, which is a policy recognised by the occupation entity regarding regional and non-regional states.
Irwani continued by saying that Iran refutes each and every one of these accusations, making it quite evident that the purpose of making them was to fill time on the Security Council’s agenda.
