The news that a research was being done to increase the cost of a loaf of bread was proven false by the Syrian Ministry of Internal Trade.
The ministry stressed that everything that has been reported in various media outlets regarding this is “purely unimportant imaginations and creativity” and that there is “no study to raise the price of a package of bread or just intention or thinking.”
