The governor of Sevastopol, Mikhail Rogujayv, posted on Telegram, “Today from 04:40 am and for many hours, various air defence systems in Sevastopol have resisted attacks with motors. All of the producers have been dropped.”

Notably, Sevastopol serves as the base of operations for the Moscow Black Sea Fleet in the Crimea.
The Crimea authorities announced, last Thursday, that the Balakalava Electricity Station in Sevastopol was targeted by an attack with a drone, noting that the station was not affected much, according to Russian news agencies.

In light of the Russian military action in Ukraine, Nikolai Patroshev, the secretary of the Russian Security Council, warned at the beginning of this month that there is a high degree of terrorist danger in Crimea and emphasised the need to strengthen anti-terrorism plans.
On the other hand, the Jeresson authorities declared that it is “extremely unlikely” that the Ukrainian forces will make any further progress on the Jeresson Front.
