Russia accuses Britain denies the link of its forces of sabotaging the linear Nord Stream

RUSSIA – The Russian army accused London of involvement in the explosions that caused leaks from the two gas pipeline Nord Stream 1 and 2 in September in the Baltic Sea, which was built to transport Russian gas to Europe, while Britain denied these allegations, stressing that there is no role for members of the British Navy in Those bombings.

The Russian Defense Ministry is using high-caliber fabrications to draw attention away from its disastrous handling of the unlawful invasion of Ukraine, according to a representative for the British Ministry of Defense.
According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, “representatives of the British Navy unit participated in planning, providing, and carrying out terrorist act in the Baltic Sea on September 26 to destroy the operation of the gas pipeline Nord Stream 1 and 2.”

Sweden and Denmark came to the same conclusion regarding the causes of the four breaches in Nord Stream 1 and 2, although they could not identify the probable official. NATO Secretary-General Yenos Stoltenberg characterised the damage as a sabotage attempt.
The public prosecutor in charge of the case said in a statement on Friday that Sweden ordered additional investigations into the damage to the pipeline.

The Kremlin repeatedly said that the allegations of Russia’s responsibility for the damage were “foolish”, while Russian officials indicated that Washington has a motive with its desire to sell more LNG to Europe, while the United States denied any role to it.
More over half of Russia’s typical gas exports are included in the 110 billion cubic metres of combined yearly capacity of the pipeline.

Pipeline sections that run over 1224 km from Russia to Germany are buried 80 to 110 metres beneath the surface.
The Swedish judiciary announced on Friday its intention to conduct a new preview of the pipeline, such as the Nord Stream, who sent a civilian ship that raises the Russian flag. Russia has repeatedly complained that it was left out of the international investigation into the Nord Stream dropouts as a result of potential sabotage.

On September 26, four significant leaks in the Nord Stream 1 and 2 pipelines were observed off the Danish island of Burnholm, as well as two more in the economic seas off Sweden and two more in Denmark. Initial underwater confirmations, particularly the finding that explosions occurred before to the leak, supported the theory of sabotage.

Since the start of the conflict in Ukraine, a network of pipelines linking Russia to Germany has become the focal point of geopolitical tensions as a result of Moscow’s decision to reduce gas imports from Europe in reaction to Western sanctions.

Russia says Britain of using its soldiers to obstruct the linear Nord Stream, but Britain denies this.
