Moldova is witnessing a wave of widespread protests

Today, an anti-government march through the streets of Kishinao, the capital of Moldova, was witnessed. During the protest, the demonstrators threw eggs at the police. According to the “Novosti” news agency, supporters of the opposition “Shura” organisation organised a march that departed from the Academy of Sciences building in the Moldovan capital, Kishinao, along the main street. However, when police attempted to reroute the march, the demonstrators attacked them with eggs.

According to Dino Torcoano, a representative of the “Shore” party, the protest organisers informed the authorities of the march’s route, thus the police are not allowed to obstruct them from finishing their route.
