London: The Russian “Wagner” group shrinks the standards of recruitment

British intelligence claimed that due to the enormous losses, the Russian organisation “Wagner,” which is fighting with Russian forces in Ukraine, has significantly reduced its rigid standards for recruiting.
The British Ministry of Defense indicated in a tweet to it on the social networking site (Twitter) in a daily intelligence report on the battle that the group now admits “prisoners who have major medical problems” in place of “its prior standards of rather high recruitment.

The strategy “gives priority to the amount of years of experience or quality,” the ministry continued.
The president of the organisation, Yafjini Brigujin, may be considering using fresh recruits to construct the so-called “Wagner Line,” a fortification in eastern Ukraine, according to the British intelligence report.
