Today, Sunday, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov stated that President Vladimir Putin and the Russian government are still willing to undertake talks on Ukraine.
“We are ready for conversations with the West to alleviate tension, provided that there are practical recommendations constructed on an equal basis,” the Russian Foreign Minister stated, according to words carried by the “Russia Today” station.
On the other hand, Lavrov pointed out that some politicians in the US and Europe are attempting to play up the topic of nuclear weapons in a “irresponsible” way, adding that “Russia” is concerned about Poland’s demand to be a candidate to spread American nuclear bombs.
Lavrov: As long as there are workable solutions, we are willing to have conversations with the West about Ukraine.
