News from Al-Madinah: At the conclusion of the 21st round of the Jordanian Professional League Championship on Saturday night at Al-Hassan Stadium, the Al-Hussein Irbid club defeated its visitor, Aqaba, with a score of (3-1) to earn a significant victory.
Abdullah Al-Attar scored in the third minute for Al-Hussein Irbid, Musab Al-Lahham scored from the penalty spot in the 46th, and Faris Ghatha scored in the 89th, while Christian Stephen, a young professional from Aqaba, scored in the 69th.
Lately, the Al-Hussein Irbid team increased their score to 47 points, trailing only the teams in second place on goal differential, while the youth of Aqaba held onto fifth place with 28 points.
