News from Al-Madinah: The Ukrainian army declared control of its soldiers over a vital road connecting two regions in the country’s east occupied by Russian forces while Russian military activities continue on Ukrainian territory.
Military officials said that the Ukrainian forces are slowly advancing from the east in the Logansk area and seeking to restore a number of towns from the control of the Russian army, which is more than 40 km south of Svatove and Kreminna, where violent confrontations take place there.
The Ukrainian army are now steadily making their way to the Logansk region by capturing the two towns mentioned, where Karimina is 45 km south of Safatov, after gaining enormous tracts of land through a kidnapping attack.

In response, Sergey Gidai, the head of the Logansk region, said on state television that the Ukrainian military practically controls the route from Safatov to Karimina and emphasised that “our soldiers are advancing constantly.”
” A separatist supported by Russia on Wednesday reported that heavy fighting occurred in the Karimina and Svatov regions, which are located on the confrontation line since the Ukrainian forces expelled the Russian forces from the neighboring Kharkif area in September.
Separately, the Military Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine reported that its agents, who were battling alongside the regular forces on Sunday, had taken control of the Russian settlement of Nevsk and murdered 34 people there.
Numerous goals were bombed by Russia.
Notably, Nevsk is situated 10 kilometres to the west of the highway that runs between Svatov and Karimina.
The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces did not mention Svatov or Karimina in a daily report. Instead, the post shared on Facebook claimed that the Russian forces bombed a number of targets near the front lines of combat.
The Ukrainian forces have focused their fire in recent weeks on Russian sites and warehouses in many areas east and south, in order to restore them after a Russian control over them that extended for months since the start of the conflict between the two parties on February 24.
