The organisation requested help for Yemenis from the donors.
Almost eight years of violent fighting in Yemen between the government forces backed by the Arab coalition led by Saudi Arabia and the Houthi group backed by Iran have resulted in one of the greatest humanitarian and economic disasters in history.
According to earlier UN studies, the war directly and indirectly resulted in the deaths of almost 300,000 people.
