The Egyptian Ambassador to Ottawa meets the Minister of Environment at Ontario and the Canadian delegation participating in the climate summit

On Friday, David Picheni, the Ontario province’s minister of the environment, the Egyptian ambassador to Canada, Ahmed Hafez, and many other members of the Canadian delegation attending the United Nations Climate Summit in Sharm El Sheikh later this month met.
Members of the Canadian delegation who were present at the meeting engaged in fruitful conversations about the summit’s significance at the time as well as Egypt’s efforts and conference chairmanship.

From November 6 through the 18th, there will be a countdown to the United Nations Climate Summit, which will be held in Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt. A lot of attention is focused on this summit, which is attended by thousands of environmental activists from around the world together with the year’s top leaders and high-ranking UN officials.

The Egyptian Ambassador also met with Representative Sharif Sabaoui, a member of the Untarro Parliament in Canada and the Deputy Minister of Tourism, Culture and Sports in the province at his office in the city of Mesisaga, noting that MP Sabaoui is an Egyptian honorable model in parliamentary work in Canada.
This fits into the framework of communication between the Egyptian ambassador and all Canadian parties and officials.

Representative Sharif Sabawi, for his part, appreciated the efforts made by Ambassador Ahmed Hafez since he assumed responsibility for fostering Egyptian-Canadian relations in all fields, in addition to the high regard given to the Egyptian community in Canada, and the priority given to the abilities of Egyptians abroad, who are regarded as one of the sources of the soft powers on which Egypt’s development plan is based.

He emphasised the significance of continuing to organise these meetings as well as speaking with Canadian businesses to persuade them to enter the lucrative Egyptian market.
