Real Madrid decides to renew Modric’s contract after the World Cup Qatar

According to sources in the Spanish press, Real Madrid has opted to extend Croatian star Luka Modric’s contract by another year in order to continue his illustrious career with the club, which he began in 2012 after joining from the ranks of English team Tottenham.
The Real Madrid administration is aiming to extend the contract of Croatian star Modric for another year, according to the “Bernabeu” website. The new deal will be signed following the conclusion of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

The report added that the Royal Club administration will not dispense with the services of legend, such as the 37 -year -old Modric, and the contract will be extended for another year.
According to the newspaper, Modric has maintained his level in recent seasons because he takes care of himself outside of the stadium and is therefore physically fit despite his advanced age.

In addition to being one of the most adored football players by the fans, the locker room, and the team in particular, Modric has consistently stated that he intended to retire while wearing the Real Madrid jersey at its peak.

The Croatian superstar participated in the 3-1 triumph over Seville last Saturday night during the encounter that took the two clubs to the “Santiago Bernabeu” stadium for the 11th round of the Spanish League’s 2022–23 season, marking his 450th game in the royal squad shirt.
