Prince William will not be in Qatar during the 2022 World Cup

Prince William of the United Kingdom, who serves as the president of the English Football Association, will not be attending his nation’s World Cup match in Qatar next month.
Prince William is well known for having a strong love of football, and he frequently brings his son George to see games. This time, however, he will not travel to Qatar to support the three lions side; instead, he will attend the Euro 2020 final with Wembley.

According to sources close to Prince William, 40, he has many engagements lined up for the next six months, including a visit to Boston in early December.
This comes amid criticism of Qatar, the World Cup host nation, for its stance on gay marriage and other human rights problems.

As the first Arab nation to accept the great football union and for the first time ever in the winter season, Qatar will host the World Cup finals from November 20 to December 18, 2022.
