Before facing off against the longtime rivals Al-Ahly in the Egyptian Super Football Cup, Mortada Mansour, the president of the Egyptian Zamalek Club, sent out a lot of messages.
The final game of the Egyptian Super Cup 2021 between Zamalek and Al-Ahly will take place Friday evening in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the Emiratis.
Mortada Mansour issued statements on his YouTube channel less than 24 hours before the game to convey significant signals to Zamalek players.
After Al-Ahly finished second to Zamalek in the league and cup for the 2020–2021 season, Mortada Mansour referred to his competitor as “Guest of Sharaf.”
“I say to the Zamalek players, you are men and champions of the league and the cup, and with all due respect to him playing against you as second-placed, whether in the league or the cup, I mean a guest of honour, and this is not a flaw,” Mortada Mansour stated.

In his subsequent letters to the Zamalek players, he continued: “You are the best team in Egypt, the Arab world, and Africa, and I appreciate all your efforts. Regardless of the money incentive that was monitored to win, you must concentrate on the game since the supporters’ enjoyment is the greatest reward.”
He went on: “I give the United Arab Emirates credit for Zamalek and Al-warm Ahly’s welcome, starting with Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Sheikh Ahmed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
“We will play the super match with a full blue set, no one can impose anything on us,” he insisted. I’ve heard that Medhat Shalaby and Ayman Al-Kashef were chosen by the On Time Sports channel to comment on the game along with the two Ahlawi, thus I request a balance between Al-Ahly and Zamalek.
