Inflation in Germany ascends to record levels

According to a news statement from the German statistical office, inflation in Germany surged in October and reached a record high of 10.4% on an annual basis, according to early calculations.
For instance, inflation increased this month from the 10% level seen the month before (September 2022).

According to a survey done by the Dailyfx portal, economists’ estimates for October 2022 were exceeded. Only a 10.1% increase in inflation was predicted.
According to the agency, after an increase in energy prices of 43.9% in September and a 43% annual increase in October of last year, inflation increased.
