Guardiola: Halland’s participation against Leicester was not confirmed

Coach Pep Guardio of Manchester City discussed the health of his striker Airling Halland and whether or not he might play against Leicester tomorrow in the match that will take place in the fourteenth round of the English Premier League 2022-2023 championships.
At the press conference, Guardiola stated, “His condition is improving more; this evening will be trained, and we will reveal his condition in the following hours.

“Julian Al-Fariz is the first choice for the striker’s centre if Halland is unable to play tomorrow. I do not evaluate the Farizs based on how many goals they have scored; if they are played for 90 minutes in each game, they will score goals, but not as many as Halland has.

“They are improving, but they are outside the Leicester match, their condition is better, especially Philips,” he said in reference to the cases of Philips and Walker.
Guardiola talked about the World Cup: “I didn’t talk to my team players about the tournament, I think the last thing they think is to be injured,” Guardiola talked about the World Cup.

After 45 minutes, Erling Halland left the Borussia Dortmund game’s stadium. During the first half, the Norwegian striker had no impact on the game despite touching the ball 13 times, making 7 passes, and not scoring any goals despite being hit in the hand and appearing to have blood streaming from it.

Halland sat out of the second half of the game, Riad Mehrez missed a penalty kick, and Manchester City and Borussia Dortmund drew to a tie for first place in the group, with Borussia Dortmund advancing to the round of 16.

Halland’s participation against Leicester was not confirmed, according to Guardiola
