German Foreign Minister begins tomorrow, Sunday, a tour that includes Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan

In light of the ongoing Russian-Ukrainian conflict, German Foreign Minister Analina Perbuk will begin a three-day tour of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan tomorrow, Sunday.
A German Foreign Ministry spokeswoman in Berlin announced today, Friday, that he will accompany Perpuk on her tour of an economic delegation representing the energy and infrastructure sectors.

During Perbook’s trip to Central Asia, the energy situation brought on by the Russian invasion of Ukraine is also anticipated to come into play.
Kazakhstan accounted for nearly 10% of Germany’s imports of crude oil last year, according to figures from the German Federal Office for Economy and Export Control. Iran and Uzbekistan decided to expand their industrial and energy cooperation in the middle of September. The major trading partner for the nations of Central Asia is the European Union.

Russia nonetheless regards itself as the Central Asian region’s governing body. Moscow is a military and economic backbone for those nations.
In the Kazakh capital, Astana, Perbuk plans to hold political talks with its counterpart Mukhtar Twelebird on Monday. In the Uzbek capital, Tashkent, the German minister is holding talks with her counterpart, Vladimir Norov, and she will inspect a German-Uzbek educational project.

On Wednesday, the minister is due to visit the Uzbek city of Samarkand to check an irrigation project that Germany is funding. According to the spokeswoman, the minister will attend more discussions on women’s rights and sustainable supply chains.
According to the spokesperson, the Group of Seven summit in Monster on November 3 and 4 will cover a variety of themes, including the Russian war, China, Iran, Central Asia, and Africa.

Representatives of the African Union and foreign ministers from African nations are anticipated to attend the gathering.
When asked if the group of seven will decide in Monster to impose more sanctions on Russia, the spokeswoman responded that this is a very preventative issue at the moment.

Tomorrow, Sunday, the German foreign minister departs for a trip that includes Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan.
