In preparation for joining the Brazil team to compete in the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, veteran Brazilian star Danny Alves, a member of the Mexican Pomas Unam team, made an appearance in training with his previous team, Barcelona.
Danny Alves has returned to Barcelona, the right back working with the reserve team in the sports city in preparation for joining the Brazil team to compete in the World Cup, according to the official Twitter account of Barcelona Club.
The Barcelona organisation had made the decision not to extend Danny Alves’ contract after it expired last summer. Alves had spent the previous six months playing with the Catalan team.
The Brazilian, who is now 39, returned to the club after six years and was a crucial part of Barcelona’s first run under Xavi Hernandez. He played 16 games, scored a goal, and assisted on three other goals during his time at the club.
In preparation for the 2022 World Cup, Danny Alves is training with the Barcelona Reserve.
