The great historian Abd al -Rahman al -Jabarti is known as one of the most important historians, but what many do not know is that Abd al -Rahman al -Son was a son of one of the most important scholars of his time. As he started memorization of the Noble Qur’an and enrolled in the students of knowledge of Al-Azhar, Sheikh Hassan bin Ibrahim bin Hassan Al-Jabarti (1110-1188 AH) was only a scholar of law and Arabic. This is similar to his parents, whose ancestry dates back to the land of al-Jabart in Abyssinia, so he studied on the imams. Sheikh Hassan Al-Jabarti passed away in 1188 AH, leaving his son Abdul Rahman a large fortune, agricultural lands throughout Egypt, and strong friendships with the great elders of his time.
