In the fifth round of the group stage of the European Championship, the Serbian Red Star squad defeated the Turkish Trabzon Sport club by a score of two goals to one on Thursday evening at the latter stadium in Belgrade.
The goals of the match opened the red star through its player Alexander Katai in the 37th minute, before Trabzon Sport realized the equalizer after only two minutes by Paxitas, and then the Serbian team scored the winning goal in the 65th minute through Bishic.
The star of our national team, Mahmoud Hassan Trezeguet, took part in Trabzon Sport’s opening formation against Red Star, however he failed to make any goals or score any goals during the match’s events.
With that outcome, the Red Star improved its score to six points in the seventh group’s bottom spot, with a goal differential over third-place Trabzon Sport.
Trabzon Sport loses to the Serbian star in the European League with Trezeguet on the team.
