Washington supports compensation for developing countries for “climate change” losses

News from Al-Madinah: US President Joe Biden Climate Affairs, John Kerry, announced on Wednesday that his country supports the research to compensate developing countries for the losses and damages caused by it due to the phenomenon of climate change during the upcoming climate summit.

The Conference of the Parties “Cope 27,” which will be held in the Egyptian city of Sharm El-Sheikh from November 6 to 18, is expected to be the most heated yet because the countries most at risk from climate change and least responsible for emissions are demanding financial compensation.

In a news conference, Kerry stated that the 2015 Paris Climate Agreement required signatories to put up greater effort to address losses and damages, and that “now we have to move to the next level and start a meaningful dialogue on how the world dealt with this issue.”

“We are ready in Sharm El-Sheikh and in full research all the measures by which we can strive to be fair and collect the efforts of the globe to help us solve the anxieties of many countries of the world,” he stated.
Kerry emphasised that as a result, “we firmly support the treatment of the problem of losses and damage in the context of the United Nations process.”

I hope that everyone will be on the same wave this year and understand that there are certain special disputes and that these folks need to be given special consideration, he continued.
He emphasised that although 17 countries on this continent are the most vulnerable to climate change, Africa accounts for 3% of global greenhouse gas emissions.
Kerry revealed that the United States will issue declarations during the conference in Egypt to help Africa to adapt to climate change.
