Washington doubts China’s intentions … and “we want to cooperate with you!”

Regarding Taiwan, a matter that has increased friction in recent years between the two countries, the United States reiterated China’s aspirations.
According to the official media, today, Thursday, Chinese President Xi Jinping emphasised in his first speech after being re-elected to a third term as head of the ruling party that “ways to agreement between his country and America must be found in order to protect peace and development in the world.”
He also observed that the present-day world is not “quiet.”

“The two countries’ increased communication and collaboration as two major powers will assist boost stability and promote peace and development in the world,” the speaker declared.
To that he added that China “is ready to work with the United States in light of mutual respect and peaceful coexistence, in order to find ways to consensus, which will benefit the whole world and not only the two countries.

” These statements came after US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken yesterday accused China of rejecting the long -standing situation in Taiwan, indicating that Beijing accelerated its schedule to seize the island. He thought that “There hasn’t been a conflict between the United States and China over Taiwan thanks to the four decades of American recognition of just Beijing while still giving the island the means to defend itself.

” However, in an interview with Bloomberg News, he considered that the Chinese government believes that the status quo is no longer acceptable, and is seeking to accelerate the process of reunification.
He also thought about how China employed “In Taiwan, people were subjected to various forms of coercion and hardship in the hopes that this would hasten the process of regeneration.

In the meantime, he noted that the status quo had also contributed to the island’s prosperity, making it a global leader in the production of essential conductors for the automotive and electronic device industries, with the caveat that “if this is disrupted for any reason, it will have serious ramifications for the global economy.

” It is noteworthy that China, Taiwan, which has a population of 24 million, is part of its territory, and has previously pledged repeatedly to return it to its sovereignty, even by force.
Any move that would grant Taiwanese authorities more authority is opposed, as is any official exchange of information between Taiwan and other nations.

Beijing and Washington disagree on a number of other topics, including climate change, the Hong Kong issue, and the subject of human rights and minorities, in addition to the Taiwan issue, which has dominated discussions about the two nations’ relations in recent years.

China’s intentions are questioned by Washington, but “we want to cooperate with you!”
