According to a Syrian military source, “the Israeli enemy carried out an air aggression from the direction of the occupied Palestinian territories, targeting several areas in the vicinity of the city of Damascus, at about 00.30 on Thursday dawn.”
The insider said, “Our air defence media encountered the aggression missiles and deflected some of them, and the losses were confined to material.
A military injury was caused by Israeli airstrikes on Friday that hit areas close to Damascus and repeated them throughout the day.
During the past years, Israel launched hundreds of air strikes in Syria that affected the Syrian army sites, Iranian targets, and other Hezbollah.
Israel seldom admits the execution of strikes in Syria, but it frequently states that it will keep up the pressure on Iran to cease what it describes as its attempts to build a military presence in the country, which has been embroiled in a deadly conflict since 2011.
