Musk had until Friday to complete the deal or risk going to court for failing to carry out the original agreement he made with “Twitter.”
Last April, Musk entered into an agreement to buy “Twitter” without the company’s permission and filed an offer; however, after that, he changed his mind, and “Twitter” brought legal action against him.
As the trial date in this case drew near, a mask presented and resurrected the acquisition plan, provided that legal actions against him are postponed.
Since the case was briefly halted by the court on October 6, it was claimed that Musk was gathering the funds required for the transaction.
In July, Musk claimed that he had withdrawn from the agreement because Twitter had been “misleading” about the prevalence of phoney accounts on the network. Twitter refuted these claims.
Twitter responded by attempting to show that Musk was inventing justifications to break the agreement based only on his viewpoint.
On Wednesday, Musk altered his self-description on the website to “President of Twitter” and shared a video of himself walking inside Twitter’s San Francisco headquarters.
