The Jordan Federation confirms the establishment of the Al -Faisaly and Al -Wehdat match in Irbid, despite the latter’s objection

The Jordan Football Association reaffirmed its commitment to its decisions on Thursday, including the setting up of the crucial summit between Al-Faisaly, the leader, and the second units at the Irbid stadium in spite of the final objection, within the pre-last round on Friday, taking into account the application of the season’s rules and regulations in the event of absence or withdrawal.

Al-Wahdat, who was left behind by Al-Faisaly on Tuesday, informed the Football Association of his decision to withdraw from the championship as a result of the relocation of his match against Al-Faisaly, his longtime rivals, scheduled for Friday in round 21 to Al-Hassan Stadium in Irbid. This decision was made under the condition that the match would be played in King Abdullah II Stadium in Amman, the team’s home stadium.

In order to find the best way out of the dilemma Jordanian football is currently experiencing, the president of Al-Wehdat Club has requested that the federation postpone the game until further notice.

The Jordanian Federation made the decision to move the pole summit from King Abdullah II Stadium to Al-Hassan Stadium in Irbid, “accredited from the units, after Al-Faisaly asked him to do so after riots that followed the match that the units lost at home against Al-Hussein Irbid within the nineteenth stage and another in which he tied Al-Faisaly with Ramtha, both of whom were held at King Abdullah II

“According to the football season’s disciplinary rules, the units that insist on withdrawing are subject to the following sanctions, as per Article No. 41: The club is disqualified from the competition, loses all of its championship results, is fined 100,000 dinars (roughly $141,000), is demoted to a lower degree, and has the proceeds of his remaining participation in the championship frozen.

Despite Al-objections, Wehdat’s the Jordan Federation confirms the scheduling of the Al-Faisaly and Al-Wehdat match at Irbid.
